WordPress / Theme options not saving.... what to do?
« Last post by WISH MASTER on May 20, 2019, 02:55:17 AM »
I am using a theme from mythemeshop. Same theme I used in several others website. There everything is working just fine. Today I looked into one of my site and tried to change the logo image.

The problem is I can delete the image from theme options panel, but when I try to add new image and then press the save button, it doesn't work. The save button redirects me to 404 page. same thing works just fine on siteground.

The one I am facing problem is with Namecheap. Any Idea?

If deactivating plugins doesn't work and it is the problem of your host, then try this YouTube video: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

In here what is said: you need to create a mail account in your cPanel. It will be same as the from address in the Mail tab of CF7.

Then use that mail account to configure a SMTP mailer plugin in WordPress.
WordPress / Contact Form (CF7) can't send message, what to do?
« Last post by delwar on May 20, 2019, 02:32:25 AM »
I have been facing this issue in one of my client site. the CF7 suddenly stopped sending e-mails.

It was giving an error like the following.

"There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later".

So, my first thought was anything wrong with the CF7 itself. I head back to the contact forms in the wp admin panel. In the mail tab of CF7, I checked every settings is OK. There is no validation error too.

The from e-mail address is also set as from the same domain.

Next my thought was there might be a hosting issue. Now, this site was hosted by siteground. It's been very rare they will block anything of CF7. I went to the cPanel. Checked the MX record. It was set to Google Mail System and the server is configured to use remote mail exchanger.

There were no problems too.

Then I went back to WP-Admin again and saw there is a post man plugin activated that is used to send mail from this site. I deactivated the plugin and BINGO!... the CF7 is working again.

I am telling you so much details so you know where to look up when you are in same kind of trouble.

Ask Anything / How To Open a .BIN File?
« Last post by delwar on April 24, 2019, 03:48:44 AM »
I wasn't aware of the .bin file before I downloaded a game from the internet. The game was given as .bin file and a .cue file in the folder. I thought this is another false download. Later I searched the Google how to open a .bin file it shows me some results.

To open a bin file supplied with .cue file you have to download a CD or DVD burner program. If you have one of those like Nero burner then its okay. Actually the bin files are a binary copy of the full CD or DVD. It is the exact raw data of the CD/DVD.

So all you have to do is- burn the cue file in the CD /DVD or in your hard disk through the CD/DVD burner program. You will  get the full data then. You can then install it or use it. Remember that you have to burn the .cue file only. So, do not select the .bin file. It will be extracted automatically.
Online Marketing / How to Get Direct Advertising on Your Blog or Site!
« Last post by delwar on April 24, 2019, 03:45:44 AM »
Selling ad spaces directly to your blog or site might be a great way to earn money online. This is one of the best monetization options for the bloggers. In direct advertising blog or site owners (webmasters) sell ad spaces at monthly or weekly basis. Sometimes it showed up as the best alternative to the PPC ads and affiliate marketing.

But to do the direct ad selling in your blog or site- your site must have a huge traffic and they must be targeted. Otherwise advertisers won’t get interested hiring your ad spaces. So, the first thing is- you have to market your site, do the SEO job and create popular content for your readers, and then you can get the opportunity to sell ad spaces in your blog or site.

If you have a site with page rank then its better and you will have most valuable customers to buy your ad spaces. Now follow these simple steps to get started.

01. Determine the ad spaces first that you want to sell. What will be their location and on which page you want to show them. Ad spaces above the fold have great value and they are preferable to the advertisers.

02. Ad space sizes also matter to the advertisers, because some may want to buy text link, when other might wants to get a banner. So it’s important you have defined the sizes of ads you are going to sell.

03. Create an advertising page where you will list all the available ad spaces, their sizes and the prices too. This thing will help to make the decision of the advertiser easily.

04. Setting the right prices for your blog or site might be the problem you’ll face. You have to determine the value of your site and what your ad space’s price should be. For the starting you may choose a lower rate that will attract the advertisers. After time passes and when you will be getting more customers you can increase the rates.

05. Always try to respond your advertiser’s e-mails or PMs as soon as possible. Building trust to the advertisers is a thing that can help you in the long run.

06. Giving discounts to the regular or frequent buyer is a tactics to make them loyal. If a customer wants to buy ads for a long time then give him a discount.

07. It will help if you send occasional e-mails to the advertisers about the updates and simple thank you sometimes.

Selling ad spaces in your blog is more profitable when you have already a running blog with huge organic traffic. You have to set your ad campaign properly. Testimonials of the customers or advertisers of your blog will do a charm in this case. Ask them politely to write something for you when their contract is over or after a certain time. People will love to hear that someone is satisfied with your service and they are making the right decision choosing your blog or site to advertise.

The direct ad selling on your blog might work best if you can combined it with some text link ads and thus you can earn from both. Let me know if you have some more ideas or thought about this matter.
